Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa took their High School Reunion tour to the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA. They brought along with them Warren G, Too Short, and Berner. There was also a special guest appearance from Lady of Rage who performed for the sell-out crowd.
Wiz Khalifa started off his set and got the crowd absolutely hyped with his smash hit, “Black & Yellow”. The entire stage was decked out with both colors, accompanied by a tantalizing light display. Continuing his party-like, fun tracks, "Roll Up" and "23" were played next. The entire 16-song set was filled with fan favorites. Wiz finished strong with his jams "So High" and "On My Level".
It was time for Snoop Dogg to make his wonderfully elaborate entrance. Snoop came rolling on to the stage in a '64 Chevy convertible. He started off with his songs, “The Next Episode,” “Boyz-n-the-Hood” and “Nuthin’ but a 'G' Thang”. Snoop has been making music for 30+ years at this point and has collaborated on a plethora of tracks with such a wide variety of styles including: hip-hop, smooth R&B, gangster rap, and even bubble gum pop hits like "California Gurls" (originally sang with Katy Perry). Snoop's extensive catalog of hits was showcased with matching background scenes to fit each song.
As Snoop came to the end of his 21-song set, he played "Gin and Juice" and the audience went wild cheering for an encore. The fans were treated with the return of Snoop along with Wiz. The duo performed 8 additional encore tracks and could be seen having a blast together, hopping back in the Chevy convertible and enjoying a few puffs together while putting on a spectacular performance.
